Komatsu Tier 4 Interim construction machine comes standard with Komatsu CARE complimentary factory scheduled maintenance for 2,000 hours or the first three years, and includes two complimentary KDPF exchanges within the first 5 years. The Komatsu CARE program covers all new Komatsu Tier 4 Interim equipment, whether rented, leased or purchased.

The HM400-3 features a maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 162,569 lbs. Improved operating performance, lower fuel consumption, improved operator comfort and enhanced serviceability are features of the HM400-3 that provide maximum productivity and lower operating costs.

The HM400-3 is equipped with the latest KOMTRAX® technology, which sends machine operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology. Amongst the six new models available from John Deere, earthmoving contractors have options to choose from as per their best suited for their application needs. Particularly the special track models will help contractors navigate the harshest terrains on their jobsite.

The 9460RT, 9510RT, and 9560RT are equipped with the Durabuilt 5500 Series Scraper rubber track in a 30-inch width. These tracks are manufactured with four-ply layers and are designed for tough debris and resistance to high side loads. To increase durability, John Deere enhanced the internal construction with a heavy-duty main cable and optimized it for puncture resistance.

The D9T cab is designed and equipped for operator productivity, safety and comfort. A low-effort electronic dozer control handle gives the operator control of all dozer functions with one hand. Operators will enjoy comfort features like adjustable arm rests, new automatic climate control and the standard Cat Comfort Series Seat now available with optional heat and ventilation.

New for the D9T is the Enhanced Auto Shift System (EAS), which provides operator-selectable forward and reverse speeds similar to an automatic transmission. The EAS system can provide increased production, fuel efficiency and ease of operation.

The new M Series 2 models are powered by Cat VHP (variable horsepower) engines with ACERT Technology and all have wider net-horsepower ranges than their M Series predecessors. The 120M2 and 120M2 AWD use the C7.1 ACERT engine, and the 12M2 and 12M2 AWD the C9.3 ACERT engine. Maximum net power ratings for the new models, respectively, are 189 hp, 209 hp, 223 hp and 243 horsepower.

Both retain the field-proven Cat drive train, including a rugged 3F & 3R powershift transmission, high-efficiency torque divider, elevated final drives and the exclusive Cat differential steering system.

The increase in lifting capacity for the PL83 and PL87 would result undercarriage and counterweight changes. The track roller frame on both machines has been lengthened and the rear idler repositioned, yielding higher lift capacity and enhanced stability when the machines work on slopes.

The patented design of the Volvo PL3005D pipelayer represents a major technological advancement when compared to traditional side-boom dozer based pipelayers. To increase productivity, the Volvo PL3005D allows for smooth, precise, and efficient load positioning anywhere around the machine, just like an excavator. These pipelayers also feature a mechanical, upper-structure swing lock for use when working on severe grades.

The undercarriage system allows for counter-rotation of the tracks for easy positioning and directional change of the machine. High ground clearance ensures the ability to work in rugged conditions. To ensure a solid footing in most conditions, the 23.6-inch (600 mm) single grouser track pads can be upgraded to 29.5 inches (750 mm) optional single grouser and 31.5 inches (800 mm) optional triple grouser shoes.

The Series II machines are been equipped with the Cat C9 ACERT™ engine that meets U.S EPA emission regulations. The C9 is a common engine design with a proven track record of reliability and durability in the woods. Also features new compensator valve spools in both the implement and travel valve sections. The new valve compensators improve hydraulic stability and flow for enhanced multi-functioning.

Cat track feller bunchers have the best combination of lift capacity, swing torque, the Series II maintaining the strong lift capacity of 21,800 lbs. at full reach, which exceeds other competitors by 15 percent or greater.

Having C9 engine with ACERT Technology thus offers more engine power, and runs at lower speeds for better fuel efficiency / reduced wear and provides a 285 horsepower of net Flywheel power. . The 340D L is the latest addition to Caterpillar’s extensive hydraulic excavator offering in China.

As per Caterpillar the machine would be manufactured in China, but this machine will not only serve the Chinese market but will also be exported to the global market.

Power comes from a 24 hp (17.9kW) engine and the machine boasts a maximum bucket breakout force of 3597 lbf (16.0 kN) and a stick force of 1596 lbf (7kN). The maximum lifting capacity to the front of the machine is 1576 lb (715kg) whereas Lifting capacity over the side is 739 lb (335kg) with the retracted 39 in (990mm) width tracks, rising to 1091 lb (495kg) with the standard 51.2 in (1,300mm) extendable tracks. Cat 301.4C has a maximum digging capacity of depth of 143.5 in (2,240mm) and reach at ground level extends to 145.7 in (3,640mm).

Standard equipment includes extendable undercarriage, single and two-way auxiliary hydraulic lines, a sturdy dozer blade, a suspension seat and a hydraulic oil cooler. The machine will have a bucket linkage that allows the use of a wide range of existing Cat buckets, quick couplers and powered work tools.

Caterpillar also introduces the Combination body for the 789D. Based on the dual slope design, the Combination body is a multi-purpose, high volume body designed to reduce haulage costs of well fragmented, low density material. An updated dual slope body also is available, as are X, MSD II and Dual Slope bodies enabling mining customers to optimize their trucks for the application.

The 789D offers additional flexibility. It has been designed to accommodate larger tires, 40.00-R57 and 42/90R57. The standard tires size is 37.00-R57. In appropriate hauling conditions, larger tires will have longer lives and reduced costs per unit of material hauled.
